If you see him, say hello. That’s what the Nobel academy must have told Bob Dylan’s close associates after unsuccessfully trying to contact him about a certain literature award.

The 75-year-old has kept his mouth shut about the honor, despite several attempts from the academy’s permanent secretary, Sara Danius, to get in touch with him.

He even performed a concert at The Chelsea theatre in Las Vegas on the same day he won the Nobel prize and didn’t say a word about the award. Casual.

After a week, it felt that the times were a-changin’ and Dylan was finally ready to at least acknowledge that he had been awarded the Nobel prize. …
