Egypt sets retrial date for jailed Al Jazeera journalists


Egyptian authorities have set a retrial date of Feb. 12 for two jailed Al Jazeera journalists

Baher Mohamed, a producer, and Mohamed Fahmy, Al Jazeera‘s Cairo bureau chief, have been in jail for 407 days. They were arrested “after being falsely accused of colluding with the outlawed Muslim Brotherhood,” Al Jazeera said Sunday in a post announcing the retrial
