Even in a dorky ‘Ultron’ mo-cap suit, James Spader is intimidating as hell


LOS ANGELES — You’ve seen him in his Vibranium body — now check out James Spader in the motion-capture suit that would become the malevolent bot in Avengers: Age of Ultron.

And let’s face it — mo-cap suits are the fanny packs of moviemaking. Not even The Rock can make them cool.

But there’s something about Spader’s presence — that marionette-like gait, the purring voice — that sends chills, even with the goofy insectoid getup and dots on the face
